Brought home from Oman
Frankincense has been burned in Omani homes for thousands of years. It's there when guests arrive, on Fridays, at Eid, and whenever a house wants to smell beautiful.
I picked up this batch myself on my trip to Oman, from a frankincense seller in Salalah, the heart of luban country in the south. It's Hojari, the variety Oman is known for: pale, clean-burning pieces with a bright, citrusy, resinous scent. I packed it by hand back in the UK so you can have a little of Oman in your own home.
This is the only batch. Once these 50 or so bags are gone, that's it. I'm not going back for more.
